Duke is a George England 0-4-0 STT Built in 1879 for the Mid Maine Railway.
According to Allen, Duke was built at Boston Lodge in 1879 before being transported to Arlesburgh in 1880 for the opening of the Mid Sodor Railway. He lived there with several engines including Stuart, Falcon, Stanley, and Smudger. In 1947, the line closed and he was sheeted in Arlesdale sheds. He was taken out of his shed in 1969 and taken to MR by ship, where he was mended and returned to service by 1983.
